Property Tax Collections

 The tax collector's office is also located in the Town Office. The current fiscal year of 2011-12 has two payments scheduled. The first half of taxes were due September 23, 2011 and the second payment is due February 10, 2012.

Interest on unpaid taxes start immediately following the due dates. The interest rate on unpaid taxes is 7%.  The current tax rate is $21.30 per $1000.00 of assessed value. Bills are mailed to taxpayers once a year in August.
