			<description>&lt;p&gt;Nomination papers will be available after December 13th at the town office for the March 8, 2011 Municipal Election.&amp;nbsp; The deadline for filing papers is on or before 4:30 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2011.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; At least 25, but no more than 100 signatures of Orono voters are required to have a name placed on the ballot.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&lt;p&gt;There are two 3-year terms available on Town Council and two 3-year terms available on the Orono RSU#26 Board.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&lt;p&gt;Councilors whose terms will expire are Geoffrey Gordon and Cynthia Mehnert.&amp;nbsp; The Orono RSU#26 members whose terms will expire are Leo Kenney and Geoffrey Wingard.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;</description>

			<description>&lt;p&gt;ALL VOTING will be held at the Municipal Building, Council Chambers, 59 Main Street.&amp;nbsp; Voting hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&lt;p&gt;There are five candidates running for two 3-year terms on the Town Council.&amp;nbsp; The candidates are Andrew Gavett, III, Geoffrey Gordon, Cynthia Mehnert, Daniel LaPointe and Kathleen Walton.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&lt;p&gt;Voters will be electing two members to the RSU#26 Board for 3-year terms.&amp;nbsp; The RSU#26 Board candidates are James Bird, Lisa Buck and Geoffrey Wingard.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

			<title>Dog Licenses</title>

			<description>&lt;p&gt;Renew by January 31, 2011 to avoid a $25 penalty.The fee for a spayed or neutered dog is $6.00 and $11.00 for an unaltered dog.&#13;
&lt;p&gt;Maine Law requires that all dogs six months of age or older be licensed in the municipality where their owners reside. Dog licenses for the year 2011 are now available at the town office. All dogs must be licensed before January 31st.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
